Jade adze

A nephrite item which is a small adze of an elongated sub-oval shape. It has a flattened-convex cross section and a one-sided blade sharpening. A butt is asymmetrically ovaled, thin edges are blunted and slightly diverge to an arcuate blade. On the one side of the blade, there is a break of the edge. The adze is made of a thin nephrite bar. Nephrite is light green with whitish veins.
